Candle Safety

​

Candles can be a serious fire hazard if not used properly. Please read the following to ensure safe candle burning.

• DO NOT leave a candle burning unattended, burn within sight.

• Keep candles away from flammable objects, children, pets and drafts.

• Burn on a heat-safe surface.

• Never burn a candle for more than 4 hours at a time.

• Never touch or move a lit candle as the jar gets very hot.

• Do not light candle if the jar is cracked or chipped.

• Stop using your candle when ½ of an inch of wax is remaining to prevent the glass from overheating and shattering.

• Trim your wick ¼ of an inch before each burn.

• Test scrub on a small area first and wait 24 hours. If irritation occurs discontinue use.

• Do not use on face.

• Do not eat or put scrub in your mouth.
